This broadway dressing room, split into two separate spaces, had a tiny and challenging layout. Rather than fight its features, we leaned into them. The room with little natural light transformed into a dark and luxurious nap room and lounge space. The awkward nook in this room turned out to be the perfect spot for a small bed to provide a reprieve on two-show days. The other room had good natural light, making it the perfect space for the vanity and dressing area. With a tight budget and even tighter timeline, we sourced most items locally and from secondhand sellers, breathing more life into an already historic space.
